Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD)
ADD/ADHD makes learning more difficult by impairing attention. ADHD treatment can help.
The attention network or difference in electrical power across the brain causes ADD. In some cases, a diagnosis of attention deficit disorder is given when the underlying issue is another problem. For example, you might actually have transcortical sensory aphasia (damage to the part of your brain that helps you understand language), which makes it hard for you to understand your teachers.
Brain mapping helps identify the specific cause of your symptoms (such as an attention network, a disorder that results in similar symptoms, or typical ADHD). Training can then be focused in that specific brain area to reduce the problem.
ADD presents differently from one adult to another and between adults and children. That’s why identifying and treating the specific brain areas and wavelengths involved in each individual case is most likely to benefit you.
Please read the section on “how to prepare for your session”. Your hair must be clean and dry. You must remove everything you can from your head and neck and preferably clothes and other parts of your body.
